After having spent almost two weeks in Örnsköldsvik it was time to set sails again and head out on the open sea. With a favorable weather window we decided to cross the gulf of bothnia and get back south as much as possible with the limited northern winds.
It turned out to become a bumpy ride through the night but at the same time a beautiful trip which showed us once more what a seaworthy ship Desiree is. After 22 hours of handsteering it was a great feeling to set foot on land again and to get some good hours of sleep without loud noises. Have fun watching.
All the best from Désirée and crew
