Hello there!
A little while ago we spent some wonderful days on the sunny island of Bornholm. We started in Hasle, where we arrived after a nice and speedy crossing from Skillinge in Sweden. From here, we rounded the northern tip and saw the famous Hammershus ruin from the waterside. Our next harbour was Allinge, from where we did a day trip to the ruin, and where Johannes and Clara joined our crew. From Allinge we took the short trip to Gudhjem, where we stayed in a wonderful harbour and grilled for the first time this year. Clara left to continue her Interrail in Europe, and Jascha moved in the same day. Next and last stop on Bornholm was Svaneke, where we got the full ‘Bornholm experience’ with candy making and chicken shit bingo. In quiet weather we continued up to Christiansø, which was a really special experience, as the island fell very quiet after the last tourist ferry had left back to Gudhjem. It was also from here that we started our so far longest trip, going all the way up to Karlskrona in Sweden – 55 nautical miles of sailing. In Karlskrona we said goodbye to our whole Bornholm crew, as Simone, Johannes and Jascha left the boat. Thanks for the nice time together!
We have tried to film some of the nice scenery, sailing, nature and summer days and have put them together in this new video.
We hope you enjoy it!
All the best,
Paul and Liv
